Research
We began the project with a deep analysis of Jameson’s visual language in a global context, with the main goal being to create a brand zone that would convey the brand’s rich history and convey the authentic atmosphere of the Irish whiskey consumption culture of those times. We sought to identify visual codes whose character the consumer could read at the texture level even in the absence of logos. We understood that the true identity of the brand is best revealed through direct associations with production processes, so we focused on finding visual solutions that would convey industrial processes, distilleries and other elements that have historically been associated with the ritual of whiskey consumption in Ireland.

Development
In 120 days, we went the full way from creative 3D design and complex engineering to logistics and final installation of two zones in the Megamarket. We held an internal tender and attracted a wide pool of suppliers and contractors, which allowed us to get optimal terms and control the quality of production of all components. We fundamentally abandoned plastic in favor of natural materials that fully meet the brand's requirements for sustainable development. Our idea was to use natural wood that resembles massive aging barrels and metal with imitation copper as on ancient distillation cubes. The walls were laid out with facade tiles under antique bricks, and instead of conventional lamps, we integrated a complex LED system that softly illuminates the product and creates volume due to backlighting. We also developed a unique moving plywood mechanism where “barrel people” figures — designed by renowned designer Edward McKnight Coffer — create an interactive experience and bring to life Jameson’s early 20th century advertising legacy.

Retail result
The final stage was the completion of two autonomous architectural objects that were organically integrated into the space of the sales hall, transforming the retail store into a premium environment that tells the story of the brand's origin. The conscious rejection of cheap plastic in favor of noble oak, copper and stone allowed us to create an aesthetically perfect space that recreates the atmosphere of the legendary Jameson bar. Thanks to the thoughtful color scheme and lighting accents, the object attracts the buyer even when approaching the row, stimulating active interaction with the product and providing a deep immersion in the authentic world of Irish whiskey through modern architectural solutions.
